I would like to just take the time to thank those of you who joined the SUDS group on Facebook and for those who are serious about making a difference in the world. The world that we live in today is changing rapidly, and for those of us who are still in high school, it can seem overwhelming. The truth is, this is nothing new. The world has always been changing, the only difference is that it has been happening faster and faster for the past century.

In the 20th century alone we went from horseback in 1900 to landing men on the Moon in 70 years, from conventional TNT in 1900 to the atomic bomb in 45 years, from computers the size of buildings to the PC in 40 years, and from 3 TV channels to nearly 1000 in just another 40 years.

The world is changing, and it isn't going to slow down, just because the newest episode of American Idol is on. I'm not asking for much, just that you get involved. Whether it's volunteering for a cause or actually going through the motions to make a change to the status quo (whatever action that may be).

Just Stand Up! Do Something!

I'll try and organize SUDS through Facebook initially, which is where most of the members are currently. My plans are to organize something before the holiday season is over.
